In The Paint 2/28/06

On Tuesday's show all three hosts were back for a full fledged series of debates over several Penn State Bball topics. With Travis Parker playing what could have been his last game at the BJC, the guys discussed what kind of senior day it would be for Ben Luber a year from now. We also took the time to give out our MVP awards for the season, well some of us gave real awards and one of us took one for the show. Tune in as we discuss all this and look ahead to the postseason for the Nittany Lions.

Men's Basketball vs. Northwestern 2/25/06

On Saturday the Nittany Lions were looking for the win that could just about lock up a postseason appearance in the NIT as the Wildcats of Northwestern visited Happy Valley. Travis Parker, the lone senior on this year's squad, was honored before the game during senior day festivities and was looking to continue his solid play during his last game at the BJC. Mike Wolf and Chris Mueller had the call for ComRadio, tune in to see if Penn State has a postseason in their future.

Ben Luber does it again and in this installment of In The Paint Mike and Josh vent all their frustrations about one of the most infamous shots in recent Penn State Basketball history. We also discuss the possibility of an NIT birth for the Nittany Lions and how they stack up to the criteria set down by the tournament. Finally, the guys preview the upcoming game against the Wildcats of Northwestern and what they will need to do to break up that pesky Princeton offense the Cats run.

On this edition of In The Paint, Mike and Mark talk about the Fifth...thats right Fifth...Big Ten victory for the Nittany Lions over Purdue on Saturday. The guys take a look at the stellar play of Travis Parker and the recent contribution of the much maligned Ben Luber, who has been proving critics wrong of late. We also preview the Indiana game on Wednesday night and dish out the five "Obvious" keys to victory for PSU.

Tonight, host Ryan Chadwick is joined by his co-hosts Chris Mueller and Zach Weinberg. The boys discuss the insanity of super slugger, Barry Bonds, they debate who deserves the NCAA player of the year award and talk about who should be the No. 1 team in the land. Tonight, host Ryan Chadwick is joined by his co-host Zach Weinberg and Chris Mueller, as well as, special guest Damien Figueroa. The boys talk about the departure of two major NCAA mens basketball coaches, Mike Davis and Eddie Sutton. Also, they discuss the Olympic mens hockey team and their tie with Latvia, yes Latvia. In some wierd news, they rant about the dismissal of Standfords Mascot as well as UTB's favorite athlete named Sammy, Mr. Slammin Sammy Sosa. All this and much much more.

In this early...early morning edition of In The Paint, host Mike Wolf is joined by special guest host Chris Mueller to discuss the Lions win over the Indiana Hooisers Wednesday night. Mike and Chris banter their way through all aspects of Penn State's fourth conference victory and rant away at the FAUX court rush that the BJC witnessed after the game. "The Mauler" paints an array of pictures for the listeners of all the events that unfolded in the press room after the game and the guys give their picks for Saturday's game against the Boilermakers.

Tonight, Host Ryan Chadwick is joined by his co-hosts Zach Wienberg and Chris Mueller, as well as special guest Kevin Haslam. The guys break down the No. 4 Villanova Wildcats upset win over the No. 1 Uconn Huskies, as well as talk about the possible future of Ravens star Ray Lewis, plus they rant about the irrelevance of the Olympics and NBC's shady practices. Men's Basketball vs. Indiana 2/15/06

On Wednesday, Penn State faced off against a struggling Hooisers squad looking to keep their tournament hopes alive. Surrounded by rumors about Head Coach Mike Davis, Indiana came out strong in the first half but the Lions were able to match them blow for blow. Chris Mueller and David Joseph had the call, tune in for another great Big Ten game.

Monday's show comes from the Bryce Jordan Center during the Lions practice. Mike, Mark, and Josh discuss the recent second half let down against Wisconsin and get into a debate over the "no-name" players who have recently been stepping up against PSU. The guys also give their picks for Wednesday's game against Indiana and Josh notes his five keys to Penn State getting the victory.

On Monday's show The Grinder and The Playmaker spend most of their time discussing the first two-thirds of the NHL season. They also update the Rick Tocchet-Gambling saga and touch on a disappointing weekend series for the Penn State Icers. Men's Basketball vs. Wisconsin 2/11/06

After a difficult stretch against some of the best competition the Big Ten has to offer, the Nittany Lions were looking for a big win against Wisconsin on Saturday at the BJC. Penn State came out strong in the first half and held down the Badgers' leading scorer Alando Tucker. Mike Wolf and Doug Foster had the call for ComRadio, tune in to see if the Nittany Lions can keep their NIT hopes alive.

After the emotional high of the victory over Illinois on Saturday the Nittany Lions fell back to earth hard losing to Minnesota at the BJC on Wednesday night. Mike Wolf and Josh Moyer discuss the disappointing performance by Penn State and what went wrong against the Golden Gophers. Nittany Lion sixth man Mike Walker joined the guys to answers some questions about how he has improved over the course of his early career at PSU and how important the fan base is to getting big wins at home. They also preview the upcoming matchup against Wisconsin on Saturday, dishing out some keys to pulling off another upset victory for the Nittany Lions.

Host Ryan Chadwick is joined by three guest co-hosts, Chris Mueller, JJ Terlecki and Damien Figueroa. They discuss the recent gambling scandal that has consumed "the great one's" life. Men's Basketball vs. Minnesota 2/8/06

Coming off of the biggest win in Penn State Basketball history over #6 Illinois, the Nittany Lions were looking to continue their success against the Big Ten's worst team on Wednesday night. The Lions opened up a 10-0 lead but the Golden Gophers would fight back and make a game of it, putting together an incredible second half performance. Tune in as Chris Mueller and Mark Myers had the call from the Bryce Jordan Center.

Women's Basketball vs. Purdue 2/5/06

The Lady Lions were looking to continue their success against #8 Purdue on Sunday after beating up on Michigan earlier that week. A heated rivalry in the Big Ten, the game saw several runs by both teams that added up to another exciting contest between the two foes. Ryan Wehr and Brian Chapman had the call for ComRadio from the Bryce Jordan Center.

Men's Volleyball vs. Long Beach St. 2/4/06

The 12th ranked Nittany Lions faced off against #3 Long Beach St. on Saturday night in the biggest test for Mark Pavlik's team on the season. Coming off of two straight victories over NYU and Juniata, Penn State was looking for a big win before getting into the heart of the EIVA schedule. Icers vs. Rhode Island 2/4/06

After having their 17-game winning streak snapped on Friday night, the Icers looked to get back to their winning ways. Coach Battista's team had to shake off the heartbreak of having Friday's game tied in the last 2 seconds of regulation before losing in OT. Tune in to find out if the #1 Icers were finally able to beat #2 URI for the first time in six tries.

Icers vs. Rhode Island 2/3/06

The #1 Penn State Icers faced off against the 2nd ranked University of Rhode Island Rams on Friday night in a battle of ACHA elite teams. A low scoring affair between the two teams came down to the wire and was decided in overtime after a goal by the Rams with a questionable 2 seconds left in the 3rd period that sent the game to OT. Join Ray Schmitt and J.J. Terlecki for the broadcast from the Greenberg Ice Pavilion.

Men's Basketball vs. Michigan 2/1/06

The fourth straight ranked opponent for the Nittany Lions proved to be another difficult task as Penn State came up just short against the Wolverines of Michigan on Wednesday night. Geary Claxton led the Lions with 17 points, scoring in double digits for the 11th straight game. Chris Mueller and Chris Busk had the call, tune in for the exciting contest between two Big Ten foes.

Blue White Football Show 2/1/06

In this edition we talk about the latest Signing Day news and get Head Coach Joe Paterno's input on the Nittany Lions newest squad members. The Sin Bin 1/30/06

Monday, The Grinder and The Playmaker were joined by special guest Dave Anderson. Tune in to hear about the Blues' trades, the Flyers' new captain, and how two stud goalies took different approaches towards new contracts. Don't forget about the Infirmary and the Power Play. Again, sorry for the ending being cut off. Ray picked the Blackhawks and Dave picked the Blues. The final two games were Atlanta at Florida and New York Rangers at Philadelphia. Icers vs. Michigan-Dearborn 1/28/06

On Saturday, Penn State looked to extend their win streak to 17-games against the 8th ranked Michigan-Dearborn Wolves. Women's Basketball vs. Iowa 1/26/06

The Lady Lions won their second consecutive game on Thursday night by beating Iowa 72-61. Amanda Brown led the way scoring 24 points, only equaled by teammate Kam Gissendanner. The Lady Lions improve to 9-10 on the year and 3-5 in Big Ten conference play. Jared Smith and Ryan Kopp had the call for ComRadio.
